I make films that sit somewhere between documentary and cinema. Human first. Always.

I started out as an electrician with a passion for music. I then chose film. I assisted the likes of Tony Kaye, Peter Capaldi, and Damian Hirst and went on to direct music videos and 'virals' - remember those. I’ve spent just over a decade working across the Middle East and beyond, learning how stories take shape in different places — and how easily they can be misunderstood from the outside. The best tales don’t arrive fully formed. They're created in the process. I have great relationships with many of the top production houses in the UAE, collaborating with them to capture the beauty, the unexpected, and the contradictory of both this ever-changing region and the wider world.
